What's the hardest area you have vanquished
I would like to gather some feedback on whats the hardest area you have vanquished so far among all 3 campaigns, along with a short reason why. For me it has been:
1. IceDome-obscene concentration of mobs in a small area. Has everything in a group: mesmers, necros, rangers, water ele, warriors, monk. Insane.
2. Kessex Peak- those Verata cultists are crazy..nuff said.
I have completed vanquishing in Elona and Cantha, some areas were hard but for me both the above places made me QQ.

really for me the hardest places have been the area's where you can only have a team of 4. just not enough people in the team.

Probably Majesty Rest. Everything was easy except the Rotscale and his buddies.
We spent like 1h to kill it.

Really? So how do you handle those groups with three cavaliers and an acolyte, all rezzing as fast as you kill them?
Drives me freakin' loopy!

I'd say hardest for me was Ice Dome. We did it when the hero AI was all borked up (of course Anet fixed it the very next day), and it was just miserable. I used something like 60 4-leaf clovers on them.

Twin Serpent Lakes isn't very fun. and The 2-3 monk groups in Eastern Frontier are down right infuriating.

The only place I ever Vanquished was Shattered Ravines, and that only because I was leveling a pet and suddenly realized I'd killed about 2/3 of the monsters according to the little meter, so I went and hunted down the rest...

The trick to Kessex Peak is to get a friend who hasn't done Villainy of Galrath. It's much much easier with most of the Verata gang excluded for the quest.
I actually had fun in Twin Serpent Lakes.
Talus Chute has been the biggest beast for me so far. *shudder* I'm still not done with it. Of course I haven't even tried to take on Ice Dome, Ice Floe or the hell run yet.
I haven't done much in the other Chapters either, but boy am I not looking forward to places like Joko's Domain or Gyala Hatchery reverse.

A few people have mentioned how tough Ascalon is with only a party size of 4 to work with......I cleared them easily, by starting in ToA. I did a marathon vanquishing session, starting in ToA and clearing every region in a row to eastern frontier (except flame temple corridor and dragons gullet). Took me about half a day with regular breaks. A team of 8 steamrolls over everything in Ascalon.
Hardest regions so far for me have been the one outside sanctum cay, the scar, and skyward reach....only because they are the ones that have ridiculously taken my team from +10% to -60% on the last group of monsters. I'm currently on 23/54 in Tyria. Haven't tried ice dome or tasca's demise yet.

Hardest is finding someone that wants to make to team to do it. I dont much like playing with Hero/hench and you can never find a team
